A long-form algorithmic series released on fxhash in November 2021: each edition builds a small isometric city on a square map, from a 7×7 grid up to 17×17.
The program chooses the shape of the buildings (circles, hexagons, diamonds, triangles…), their scale, their rotation and how densely they fill the map, then lights the scene by day or by night, sometimes under the stars and a red moon. 168 editions.
