Life is not always a smooth journey. Each of us faces challenges and difficult times. These experiences can unsettle us, cause distress, and test our limits.
Resilience is a collection where each edition reflects a distinct slice of life, capturing the essence of challenges faced and obstacles overcome. It's a visual testament to moments of struggle now left behind, a narrative of triumph over adversity.
This project invites collectors to find an edition that echoes their personal journey, one that resonates with the hardships they've conquered, embodying the enduring spirit of resilience and a hopeful narrative of moving forward from the past.

Notes
The Resilience project is the culmination of over a year of dedication, exploration, and experimentation. It embodies a passion for design and an effort to master hatching patterns, aiming to create depth and texture that is both visually compelling and emotionally resonant. The journey to create Resilience has been one of both artistic and personal growth, drawing inspiration from the isolines of Signed Distance Functions—akin to contour lines on a map. These mathematical structures add depth to the collection, shaping both its aesthetic and meaning.
This project is deeply personal to me. Several years ago, I experienced a life-altering event—a sudden onset of hyperacusis and tinnitus that drastically changed how I interacted with the world. What began as a moment of musical joy turned into a period of profound struggle. One day, during a guitar practice session, a single note of feedback pierced through the amplifier and left me with an intense sensitivity to sound and a constant ringing in my ears. Even the smallest noises became unbearable. The hyperacusis and tinnitus made simple activities, like setting a glass on a table or enjoying social gatherings, incredibly challenging. I felt disconnected from the world and withdrew into isolation, believing this would be my reality forever.
However, over the years, I began to heal. Slowly but surely, I started reclaiming parts of my life that I thought were lost—seeing friends, going to restaurants, even enjoying live music once again. The Covid-19 pandemic, oddly enough, provided a perverse kind of solace, giving me the quiet I needed to heal. My journey back to a sense of normalcy was gradual and unpredictable, but every small victory brought hope. The experience was a powerful lesson in resilience—how we adapt, how we rebuild, and how we move forward, even under the weight of invisible burdens.
Resilience represents more than just artistic expression. It carries deep personal meaning and stands as a tribute to the resilience we all possess—a message of hope and positivity for the future. The abstract forms in each edition are a reflection of my personal journey through these challenges—a way of illustrating how life’s path can be disrupted but ultimately can emerge whole again.
This project would not have been possible without the support of family, friends, and the incredible collectors who inspire. The creation of Resilience involved a lot of research, trials, and setbacks, but also moments of discovery and joy. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who believed in and encouraged throughout this journey.
Animation
The animation in Resilience is designed to embody the concept of gradual transformation, much like the process of healing and personal growth. By pressing the spacebar, viewers can observe the slow, deliberate shifts in color and form. This slow evolution is intentional—it allows each edition to subtly change over time, encouraging the viewer to spend extended moments with the piece, much like meditation. The gentle movement of elements reflects how life’s changes are often incremental, almost imperceptible, yet undeniably transformative when viewed over a longer span. This evolving quality is a reminder of how resilience is built—not in grand, sudden gestures, but in small, steady steps forward.
